Mwape Chambeshi Mwiya is a Principal Lecturer at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA). Her current substantive position is that of Principal Lecturer, Distance learning, under the Distance Learning Division where she coordinates the part-time (evening) and residential (distance learning) classes of the Institute.
Mrs. Mwiya has over 35 years’ experience in training and her expertise is in the area of Communication and English for Specific Purposes.

She has also facilitated on various workshops conducted by NIPA, providing inputs in the areas of Communication and, Training and Facilitation Skills. Mrs. Mwiya has also carried out identification of training needs of various Government Departments and other organisations aimed at optimising the relevance of NIPA programmes in order to enhance job competencies. In addition to her training assignments, Mrs. Mwiya has also participated in various consultancy assignments of the Institute. She was part of a NIPA team that conducted a Communications Audit- on behalf of PACT Zambia - to assess the effectiveness of the communication methods used by the Parliamentary Constituency Offices that had just been set up on a pilot basis in selected constituencies.
