About RCDD<\/h2><\/div><\/div>

RESEARCH, CONSULTANCY AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION<\/strong><\/p>

This is a Division that coordinates the internal and external research and consultancy portfolio of the Institute. RCDD focuses on co-coordinating and providing leadership in terms of tailor-made Management or Business Development related Training; as well as internal or external SocioEconomic Research and Consultancy services. This is usually upon request or where a need has been identified. Normally the external research and consultancies are tailor-made upon request from clients.<\/p><\/div>

Consultancy services are offered in various areas including applied social and economic research, management and organization development, human rights and governance, training needs assessments, strategic planning and project management. Over the years, the Institute has built a strong record of working with both internal and external consultants in executing diverse management or business training, socioeconomic research and consultancy assignments.<\/div>

The Institute through RCDD offers the following training services;<\/p>

  • Entrepreneurship<\/li>
  • Training of Trainers (TOT)<\/li>
  • Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and related others<\/li><\/ul>

    Research And Consultancy Assignments Undertaken By The Institute<\/strong><\/p>

    The following are some of the assignments that have been undertaken by the Division in the past years:<\/p>

    • CHAZ; Malaria impact study 2012<\/li>
    • Children in Need; Evaluation of their child rights programs – 2011<\/li>
    • ZPCT II Capacity Building for Provincial and District Medical Office Personel – 2011 and 2012.<\/li><\/ul>

      • Conducted a comprehensive evaluation f Chalimbana Teachers College 2010 \u2013 2011<\/li>
      • The capacity building f Church Association f Zambia (CHAZ) for hospital administrators, 2010.<\/li>
      • Midterm Evaluating of Discare\u00a0 2011<\/li>
      • UNICEF; Conducted a data scoping exercise and Child Rights Protection with a view of developing training materials. \u2013 2011<\/li>
      • Speech and Report writing training fr newly recruited management development division (MDD) officers.\u00a0 2010<\/li>
      • Records Management Workshop fr Registry Staff in the Ministry f Justice.\u00a0 2010<\/li>
      • Ministry of Education (ME); Comprehensive Review of the formula for allocating (financial) resources to Provinces, District Education Bards, Universities, Colleges and High Schools. 2009 t 2010<\/li>
