ZRA and NIPA Ink MoU to Train 700 Customs Clearing Agents

About Seven Hundred Customs Clearing Agents are expected to go undergo training and examination in customs, border processes and procedures under the auspices of the Zambia Revenue Authority and the National Institute for Public Administration-NIPA.

Speaking at the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between ZRA and NIPA, ZRA Commissioner General Kingsley Chanda says the training seeks to build capacity among clearing agents with a view to raising the level of service standards in line with the international set standards by the world trade organisation and the world customs union.

And NIPA Executive Officer Ambassador Prof. Royson Mukwena has declared the institution ready to offer the service being required in a professional to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

The Signing ceremony took place at the NIPA Conference Centre Auditorium on 01st October, 2020.
