The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) main campus Debate team commemorated National Youth Day by taking part in friendly debates amongst various learning institutions.
Well done NIPA debate team for coming out first in the first round of the debate against the University of Zambia (UNZA) student’s debate team.
The debate was organised by the Debate Research Centre (DRC), a non-governmental organisation based in Lusaka. The organisers were sponsored by the Charity Lumpa Foundation.
The debate topics were in centred around the merits and demerits of Information and Communication Technology (ICTs) use.
Whilst, National Youth Day is commemorated on 12th March, the debate took place on 15th March, 2021. The Debates were held at Government Complex.
Other institutions of higher learning that took part in the debates included; Chreso University, Evelyn Hone College, UNZA and Chalimbana University.
